The Purpose Behind My Candidacy

I’m running as a Democrat for Congress because I believe the people of the 2nd Congressional District of Illinois deserve bold, compassionate, and accountable leadership. For too long, we’ve watched our communities cry out for opportunity, only to be met with silence from the very institutions meant to serve us.

From Southland, the South Side of Chicago, and Burnham to Lynwood, Kankakee, Crete, Danville, and every corner of the 2nd District, I believe everyone in the 2nd Congressional District deserves to have their voices heard.

STEPPING UP TO
SERVE

I will not waste time on Republican political games that cause more division than unification. I will show up. I will listen. I will fight for the 2nd Congressional District priorities and not the special interest groups that take advantage of our Illinois communities.

Let's Work Together

My goal as a member of Congress will be to work for everyone, not just the wealthy and well connected. Our industries are changing. Our government is being disrupted. Some in Washington D.C. want to return to a way of living and working that is not favorable to Illinois residents. Many talented people are sitting at home, looking for what is next. I need your help to make Illinois better!
