Second Congressional Democratic Candidate and Lynwood, IL Businessman Eric S France will hold a press conference Saturday, May 31st at 10:00am to formally announce his candidacy for the 2026 Congressional seat.
France is the son of the late Chicago political powerhouse Dr. Erwin A. France, who served multiple Chicago Mayors and government, dating back to the 1960’s. With that DNA lineage, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. France believes the Second District needs improved representation that will be louder and better represent the concerns and needs of its people. He feels the people of our district have been hurting for far too long and are in need of a new kind of representation.
The first Democratic candidate to announce his bid, France will be
meeting and greeting media members and is available to discuss his goals for the upcoming race and the Illinois community.
